The Entrepreneurship Resource Center hosted over 40 student businesses for the first “Shop Small for Fall” pop-up event on Tuesday, November 15th at CTEC. It was a huge success with over $4000 in sales and several hundred attendees.
Students in the ERC advanced course along with students in Mike Russo’s class, Small Business Entrepreneurship & Economics, and Watler Suazo’s class, Digital Marketing, have been working hard to launch and showcase their student-run businesses.
Our local youth entrepreneurs exhibited a variety of products from jewelry, gourmet ice cream, scented candles, woodwork, crochet crafts, and much more. For most of these students, it was their first time selling, and even a few of them even sold out of their inventory completely.
Attendees also enjoyed live music from the student band, Spreading Love.
Thank you to all of the families and community members who showed up to support our students' entrepreneurial aspirations.
