Youth Vendor Expo » Spring 2023

Spring 2023

We are thrilled to share the exciting news of our second youth pop-up event, which took place on Tuesday, May 9th, at CTEC. The event was a resounding success, showcasing our students’ entrepreneurial spirit and remarkable accomplishments.

At the Spring Youth Vendor Expo, 35 ambitious entrepreneurs from the ERC advanced course, Mike Russo's Small Business Entrepreneurship & Economics class, and Walter Suazo's Digital Marketing class displayed their student-run businesses, offering a variety of products such as jewelry, desserts, tacos, clothing, crafts, and more.

The pop-up event's success was apparent through the unwavering dedication and hard work of our students, coupled with the tremendous response from the community. With a considerable turnout of several hundred attendees, the event buzzed with excitement as visitors eagerly immersed themselves in the remarkable offerings of our talented young entrepreneurs.

23ABC caught up with one student, Olivia Castillo, who describes how events like these have inspired her.

We are thrilled to share that our young entrepreneurs accomplished a remarkable milestone, collectively generating over $4,000 in sales. Of those sales, the 13 ERC students selling products, generated $2,323. We are incredibly proud of our student’s accomplishments!

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the families and community members who joined us in supporting our future business leaders. Your presence and encouragement played a pivotal role in fueling their dreams and their entrepreneurial spirits.
