Fall 2021

HUGE SHOUTOUT!! This week 34 students (7^th-12^th graders) completed ROC & CTEC ERC’s eleven-week Entrepreneurial Essentials and Endeavors course by pitching their business ideas. The dedication and hard work these students have shown over the past few months to validate their business idea was evident in each presentation. 

It takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of a room of people and share your business idea; as you are sharing your HEART. The desire to create, to innovate, and to risk failure for a chance to succeed are what drive the passions of the heart. Sharing those passions with others is an expression of vulnerability that most people will not choose to experience. And yet, over the past two nights I got to witness our children stand before adults and lay it all on the line. I could not be prouder of them.

Thank you to each and every student I have had the privilege to teach during the past few months.  Thank you to the guardians and families of our students-your support of their goals is needed and appreciated.
