The ERC hosted the full-day event at CTEC where KHSD Virtual Enterprise (VE) students and ERC students participated in a two-track business conference schedule. In the morning, seventh-to-12th grade students attended workshops to learn from local professionals on topics like human resources, marketing, finance and creative rapid prototyping.
After morning workshops, the business community joined students for a catered lunch with a keynote speaker, Gabrielle Jordan, a youth entrepreneur, author, speaker and mentor that all ERC students have studied. Every guest received an autographed copy of her book, "The Making Of A Young Entrepreneur."
The goal of the summit was to provide a one-of-a-kind entrepreneurial learning experience for students in Kern County and it was a huge success! To see highlights of that day, click here.
